The Lawrence High School Cardinals showcased resilience and determination during the 2024-2025 basketball season.

The boys' varsity team concluded the season with an impressive 19-7 overall record and a 12-3 league standing, securing third place in the Colonial Valley Conference. Their journey included a remarkable 12-game streak, highlighted by a thrilling 52-50 victory over rival Notre Dame. Despite a valiant effort, their playoff run ended with a 67-49 loss to Burlington Township in the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group 3 quarterfinals. Junior Marvin McNeill was named First Team All-CVC and Senior Noah Johansen earned Second Team All-CVC.

The girls' varsity team faced a challenging season but demonstrated growth and tenacity. Senior players Taryn MacMahon, Emma Dobkin, and Ariana Lopez showed such leadership as they helped the girls earn notable wins against Burlington Township and Florence Township Memorial High School. Additionally, freshman Kayla Williams broke the single-season record rebounds. Way to go!

Many Varsity and Junior Varsity players came out strong, giving their all throughout their respective winter seasons, and demonstrating what incredible talent they have to offer!
